Where the Wild Fern Grows

                                                           My favorite ferny glade.

Christmas ferns, so called because they are evergreen here.
                                I love the baby ones.

These are my favorites - some type of broad leaf fern (possibly
sensitive fern, but I'm not sure)

Here is the only mushroom I have seen thus far, and even he is hiding.

And finally, God has reminded me how adversity only makes us more beautiful and more interesting sometimes.  If we persevere.

Blessings, friends.

April Showers Brought May Flowers

Spring is such a period of transition, and I am feeling it inside and out.  Change is a constant in this life, but it's something I can never seem to get quite comfortable with. So much in our lives is in a state of flux at the moment.  I am trying to learn to face change and uncertainty with hopeful anticipation rather than fear and dread.  Change can be a good thing - as is evidenced by these wonderful wildflowers.  Perhaps we are just entering another season in our lives, and every season has its delights.

Yes. This is how I will think about this.
